what the differences were between Cat 5, Cat 6 & Cat 7 cables??

  • THANK YOU.

  • The difference is that the bigger the number, the more data it can transfer. For example, Cat5 cabling is able to do 100Mbs while Cat6 cabling is able to do 1000Mbs (1 gigabit) and Cat7 cabling is designed specifically for 10000Mbs (10 gigabit) networks.
Vast majority nowadays will use Cat6, but if you have a company where a lot of data is needed, Cat 7 would be an essentia
