How To Install Canon Pixma MG2120 Color Inkjet Cartridges?

  • Do you have instructions please?

  • Whenever the cartridge is empty the Canon Pixma MG2120 screen flashes out saying the error that there is no more ink. Remember, the error code will be displayed on the LED (Light Emitting Diode) to inform you of the error. So, what should your next step be? Check the error code and install Canon Pixma MG2120 cartridges.

Handling cartridge is not just such a simple thing to do, you must remember certain things. Do not touch the electrical contacts or print head nozzle on the cartridge. The machine may not print properly if you touch them. Now, when you remove the cartridge, replace it immediately. Do not leave the machine without cartridge for a long time. Use a good quality cartridge for replacement.

1 – Make sure that your machine is equipped with CD/DVD drive

2- Install the disc of Canon PIXMA MG2120 printer which might be available with your kit

3 - USB cable to connect with Canon PIXMA MG2120 printer

    Installation Procedure:

1 – Make sure that the power is turned on, open the front cover, then open the paper output tray.

2 – Open the paper output cover.

3 – When the cartridge holder moves to the replacement position, the head cover will open up automatically.

4 – Now, lower the ink cartridge lock lever and the cartridge s installed.

Now, also you need to keep in mind some of the facts that if you overfill the cartridge, you can have ink running out of the printhead. In case that happens, leave the cartridge out a few minutes to make sure it’s not dripping.

You must remember that when your printer runs out of ink, you can print with either color or black Canon Pixma MG2120 cartridges, if any of the ink remains for a while. Color ink may be consumed even when printing a black & white document or when black-and-white printing is specified. These are also consumed in the standard cleaning and deep cleaning of the print head which may be necessary to maintain the performance of the machine. Always use a good quality ink, no matter whether it is high or low-priced.
