I have a wireless connection between my router and an android streaming device. However, the wireless connection is not the greatest and constantly drops and slows. I tried a wifi extender and it still is not the fastest. So...I want to run an Ethernet cable from the AC 3200 router to the box, a distance of just under 100 ft to create a reliable connection.
Which cable is the best... CAT 5e, CAT 6 or CAT 7??
Thank you for contacting 123inkcartridges / Shopper + Family.
This is a big improvement on previous network cabling speeds (CAT 3: 10 Mhz, CAT 5: 100Mhz, CAT 6: 250 Mhz). Cat 7a cables can perform up to frequencies of 1000 Mhz and 40 Gbit/s.
So cat7 is the best.
Thank you for your support.
